Lesen is a Prague-based bed linen brand that works with local designers and manufacturers. They are zero waste and only work with sustainable materials and I just love their principles and aesthetic.
Katka from Lesen was looking for more illustrators to collaborate with for a new bed linen collection so of course I jumped on the opportunity.

Together we came up with the idea of apricots- they are typical for Czech summers and it also didn’t hurt that the color tones in apricots have been really trendy. I used gouache to paint the apricots and used many different tones of orange and pink together with very apparent brush strokes.

The first fabric samples are being printed and I just can’t wait to own a set of this apricot bed linen myself.
