I was approached by Czech Coalition for Biodiversity Conservation, a non-profit organization that educates and raises awareness about biodiversity conservation, to make illustrations of certain pollinators and flowers they pollinate.

Their aim was to make a wooden panel for kids to play with and learn which insects are pollinators apart from the obvious bees and bumblebees and which plants they can plant in their own gardens to attract and encourage them.

Using gouache paint, I created 10 illustrations of particular pollinators, including green flies and yellow spiders as well as 10 of our native plants the children could easily plant at home.
